June 2026 Update: Dynamic QR Code Log for Denied Access and Double Entries

We have added a new feature in GymRealm Manager that gives gyms better visibility into failed and suspicious dynamic QR code access attempts.

The new Dynamic QR Code Log helps managers review denied access attempts, double entries, and other situations that may indicate potential fraud or incorrectly configured memberships.

Track denied access attempts

When a customer tries to enter using a dynamic QR code but access is denied, the attempt can now be recorded in the log.

This gives reception staff and managers a clearer overview of why a customer was not allowed to enter. It can help identify issues such as expired memberships, missing requirements, incorrect membership settings, or other access restrictions.

Detect double entries

The log also helps track double entry attempts.

Double entries can happen when the same customer tries to enter multiple times within a short period, or when a QR code is potentially being reused or shared.

By reviewing these entries, gyms can better understand whether the situation was a simple mistake, a setup issue, or a possible attempt to misuse access.

Identify potential fraud

The Dynamic QR Code Log is especially useful for detecting possible membership sharing or misuse.

If a customer account is repeatedly involved in denied access attempts or double entries, staff can review the log and investigate the situation more easily.

This helps reduce the possibility of customers sharing accounts, using QR codes incorrectly, or attempting to enter without meeting the required conditions.

Find incorrectly configured memberships

Not every denied access attempt is fraud. Sometimes it can be caused by an incorrectly configured membership or access rule.

The new log helps managers identify these cases faster. For example, if many customers with the same membership type are being denied access, it may indicate that the membership setup needs to be reviewed.

This makes the feature useful not only for security, but also for improving daily operations.

Better access control and transparency

With the new Dynamic QR Code Log, gyms have a stronger tool for monitoring access through the mobile application.

Managers can review denied entries, double entries, and suspicious patterns in one place. This gives the gym more transparency, better control, and a faster way to respond to access issues.

A smarter way to protect your facility

The Dynamic QR Code Log helps gyms improve security while also making it easier to detect setup problems.

By showing denied access attempts and double entries, GymRealm Manager gives staff the information they need to reduce potential fraud, prevent misuse, and keep facility access under better control.
